Mr. Jack Doub, 87, of Advance died on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at his home.

He was born June 4, 1931 in Forsyth County to John Fletcher and Alma Tate Doub. Mr. Doub was a member of Advance First Baptist Church and a follower of Jesus Christ. He retired from AT&T after  37 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ramonia Hicks Doub; 7 sisters; and 3 brothers.

Surviving: 5 children, David Doub and Debbie Doub Jones, both of Mocksville, and Gary Doub, Jeff Doub and Jackie Doub, all of Advance; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.. Wednesday, April 24 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with the Rev. Rodney Hellard officiating.  Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
