Lloyd Martin, 54 of Winchester, Tenn., died on April 11, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born on April 22, 1964 in Manchester. He will be remembered by most as a man of many talents. In previous years, he worked at Rock Tenn, Inc. in Tullahoma, Franklin County Waste Management, and The GEO Group in Texas. He also was self employed as a heavy equipment operator and  worked with irrigation and field drainage. Just prior to his illness, he was employed by CFC Recycling as a transporter of industrial waste. He loved being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He raced at Winchester Speedway for years and also enjoyed motorcycle riding.

Survivors: his children, Andrea Nicole “Nikki” Martin of Winchester and Johnathan (Cassandra) Martin of Idaho; parents, Eddie M. and Gloria Gaye Martin of Winchester; brother, Tracy Dale (Candi) Martin of Maryville; grandmother, Sadie Rice of Mocksville; and grandchildren, Tennyson Blassingame, Nehemiah Fuqua, Gracelyn Martin, Waylon Martin.

A memorial service was held at the Winchester Church of Christ at 1 p.m. on April 13. He chose to donate his body to the UT Knoxville Forensic Anthropology Research. A benefit was held at Swann Equipment on Saturday, April 20 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
