Ruby Lee (Freeman) Furr Williams, 95, of Mocksville, died on April 12, 2019 at her residence.

She was born April 24, 1923 in Rowan County, the daughter of the late Sanford and Cora (Gales) Freeman. She was also preceded in death by: brothers, Barley, Tom, Floyd, and Luther; sisters, Mae, Minie, and Edna; son, David Lee Furr; several nieces and nephews.

Survivors: her husband of 50 years, Raymond “Ed” Edgar Williams; son, Richard Furr of Lexington; daughters, Janet Perry of Thomasville, and Glenda Meadows (Herb) of Farmington; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren;7 great-great-grandchildren;

A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, April 15 at Farmington Community Cemetery with Pastor Joseph Byler officiating.
