Doris Pauline Linville, 81, of Yadkinville, died on Friday April 5, 2019 at Yadkin Nursing Center.

She was born in Yadkin County on July 6, 1937, daughter of the late Lofton Simon McBride and Emma Beamon McBride. She worked locally  as a CNA.

Surviving: her children, Becky Linville Chapman and James Linville (Martha); 2 grandsons, James Matthew Linville and Robert (Robbie) Franklin Chapman Jr.; 2 sisters; Nellie Frances Brock and Sarah Magaline Allen (Jim); and a brother, Raymond S. McBride.

She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Charles and Gaither McBride.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13 at Wyo Bible Methodist Church with Brothers Donald Jarvis and Earl Newton. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. at the church.
