Robert Scott, 74, of Mocksville, died on March 31, 2019 in Gordon Hospice Home in Statesville after being in declining health for several years.

He was born in Davie County, son of the late Junior Lee and Estella Reid Scott.  He attended Davie County Schools, and worked as a machine operator at Sara Lee Knit Products for more than 30 years. He was a member of Capernaum Church of Christ in Clemmons. His hobbies were fishing, and sports.

He was preceded in death by a brother, William Bo Scott; 4 sisters, Stella Campbell, Mary Rucker, Karen Scott, and Ethel Pruitt.

Survivors: his wife, Margaret Smith Scott of the home; 3 sons, Brandon Scott, Kristoffer D. Latten, and Johnny Scott; a step-son, Leroy Tilley; 2 brothers-in-law, Donnie Smith and Billy Smith; 2 sisters, Ann McMiller and Carolyn Williams; several grandchildren; and other relatives.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 6 at 2 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home in Mocksville, officiated by Brother William Latten.  The family received friends 30 minutes before the service.
