Jean Clack Saunders of Advance died on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the age of 76.

She was born in Rockingham to Richard and Helen Clack and was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Charles William Saunders

Survivors: 3 siblings, Richard and Marcus Clack and Linda Clack Skelley of Pinehurst; 2 daughters, Raymonda (Con) Shelton of Mocksville and Camella (Jimmy) Herrin of Harrisburg; and 3 grandchildren, Haynes and Hunt Shelton and Ashley Herrin (Christian) Gagnon.

She will be remembered as a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother and for her gifts of service to the community through church and organizations such as the Mocksville Women’s Club and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

The family will receive friends at Macedonia Moravian Church at 700 NC 801, Advance on Friday, March 15  from 2-p.m. The celebration of life service will follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Zach Dease officiating.
