William Ralph “Bill” Frye, 71, of Lexington, died Thursday March 7, 2019 at his home.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday March 13 at Garden of Memory Cemetery in Walkertown.

He was born in Stokes County on July 21, 1947 to the late Ralph Harvel Frye and Jean Priddy Frye. He was preceded in death by his wife, Qureatha Frye.

Surviving: a son, Steven Frye (Tonya); stepsons, Dale Ireland (Lisa) and David Ireland (Jake); stepdaughters, Anita Alexander ( Pete)  and Becky Essick (Ralph); and grandchildren, Ashlee (John), Dale, Chris, Michael, Rachael, Hannah, Leann and Michelle.
