“His & Hers” will provide entertainment at the Advance Junior Firefighters and Cadets third annual spaghetti supper on Friday, March 8.

“His & Hers” is a  folk/bluegrass music duo from Mocksville, consisting of married couple, Caleb and Sara  Davis. High school sweethearts meeting at age 14, Caleb and Sara first found their love for  music in church and through singing together in the choir at school.

Caleb played in several bands in college, but after marriage and two children, decided that the only person he wanted to play music with was his sweetheart.

“His & Hers” has been playing as a duo  since 2015.  With Caleb on guitar and Sara with occasional mandolin chop, they perform original songs about family, relationships, and community, along with traditionals and covers that keep the crowd singing along.

“His & Hers” released their first self titled album last year and is working on another full-length project to be released in early 2019.

In the real world, Caleb is a nurse manager at Wake Forest  Baptist Health and Sara is a special education teacher at Davie County High School.

But at their happiest, they are husband and wife, mother and father, and “His & Hers.”

They will perform from 5:30-7:30. The supper is being held at the old fire station at 169 Fire Station Road.  Serving begins at 5 and continues to 8. For those who are unable to stay, take out plates will be available.  Donations will be accepted with proceeds supporting the Junior Firefighter and Cadet program.
