Mr. Rudolph Valtino Naylor, 86, of Mocksville, died after a lengthy stay in Bermuda Commons Nursing Facility.

He was born on Aug. 25, 1932 in Davie County to the late Percie Foote Naylor and Warner Milton Naylor. He grew up in Davie County and attended Davie County Schools. He had been employed at Coble Dairy in Lexington, as a security officer at Ingersoll-Rand, building and grounds supervisor at Mock Place, and self-employed for more than 50 years with Rudloph Naylor and Sons General Landscaping.

He was also preceded in death by 6 brothers, Charlie, Bynum, Vernon, William Henry, John Lewis and Earl Naylor.

Survivors: his wife, Betty Ijames Naylor; 3 sons, Michael (Shaun) Naylor of Raleigh, Larry (Leatrice) Naylor of Manassas, Va., and Eric (Nanette) Naylor of Clemmons; 6 grandchildren, Kaileigh, Brittany, Alexis, Chelsea, Adam and Alex Naylor; a brother, Donald Lee Naylor of Winston-Salem; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 28 at noon at Graham Funeral Chapel in Mocksville. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
