Fundraisers
Saturday, Feb. 16
All-you-can-eat breakfast, VFW Post 1119, NC 801, Cooleemee, 7-11 a.m. Grits, country ham, sausage, eggs, apples, biscuits, sausage gravy. $7 adults, $3.50 children age 9 and younger. Proceeds benefit Cooleemee Senior Citizens Lunch Project.
Country breakfast, Salem Methodist, 6-10 a.m. Biscuits, ham, sausage, tenderloin, eggs, grits, gravy, baked apples, pancakes to order. 75% of proceeds to Second Harvest Food Bank. On Salem Church Rd. just off Davie Academy Rd., Mocksville.
Country ham breakfast, Wesley Chapel UMC, 6:30-10 a.m., also sausage, eggs, grits, gravies, biscuits, baked apples, OJ, coffee. 3 miles w. of Farmington on Pino Road. Chocolate-covered peanuts and raisins also to be sold.

Supper benefitting at-risk students in Davie Schools, Mocksville First Methodist Family Life Center, N. Main St., 5:30 p.m. Pork loin, gravy, stewed potatoes, stewed cabbage, black-eyed peas, rolls, desserts, coffee, tea.
Saturday, Feb. 23
Community breakfast, Fulton Methodist, 3689 NC 801 S., Advance, 7-10 a.m. Bacon, sausage, tenderloin, eggs, hashbrowns, grits, beverages. Donations accepted with portion going to missions.
Thursday, Feb. 28
Davie 4-H Chili Lunch, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Extension Center, 180 S. Main St., Downtown Mocksville. $5, bowl of chili, drink and dessert. Proceeds to scholarship fund.
Friday, March 29
Rock-A-Thon supporting Davie Senior Services, 5-8 p.m., Rescue House Church, Wilkesboro St., Mocksville. Non-stop music, entertainment, games, giveaways. Rock or just come and enjoy the fun. 336-753-6230.
