Walter Glen Allen, 2, died at the  Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019 following a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Forsyth County on April 6, 2016, and was the son of Richard G. Allen and Naomi Virginia Allen of Mocksville.

Also surviving: 3 sisters, Heather, Alaina and Karrie Allen, all of the home; and his grandparents, Walter Allen III, Leanne Allen and Glen Dale Allen, all of Mocksville, and Shelia Kay Smith  of Lewisville.

The visitation with family and friends will be Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at Davie Funeral Chapel. The service to celebrate the short time little Walter was on earth will tobe Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Davie Funeral Chapel with Pastor Darrell Cox of Trinity Baptist Church officiating. Burial followed in the Rose Cemetery in Mocksville.
