Mrs. Beatrice Louise Smyers Harris, 91, of Ebright Lane, Advance, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2019 at the home of her daughter.

She was born April 15, 1927, in Summit, Ohio to the late Ralph and Annabelle Porter Smyers. Mrs. Harris was a devout member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Mocksville.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lee Wright Harris; and 3 brothers.

Survivors: a daughter, Dianna Ebright (Michael) of Advance; 2 grandchildren, Joshua Ebright (Nicole) of Mocksville and Jennifer Beauchamp (W. Shayne) of Advance; 2 great-grandchildren, Devin Dotson (James) of Mocksville and Korrie Beauchamp of Advance; a sister, Mae Wolford; a brother, Mark Smyers (Karen), all of Mocksville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 26 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. A private burial will take place in Historic Salisbury National Cemetery.
