Patrick Joseph Paquin, 92, died at his Mocksville home Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018.

A native of Caledonia County, Vt., he was born Sept. 27, 1926, the son of the late Joseph and Flordia Paquin. Mr. Paquin was a retired mechanical engineer, having worked in the optic cable industry.

Survivors: his wife of 69 years, Lauretta Perron Paquin of the home; a son, Allen Mark Paquin of Mocksville; 2 daughters, Linda Mary Gerhard (William) of Advance and Barbara Ann Powell of Nevada; plus 5 grandchildren.
