On Friday, Nov. 9 the Cooleemee-Mocksville Memorial VFW Post 1119 will honor veterans with a free hotdog lunch from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Veterans should bring an ID. It is also a membership drive for the organization. The post will pay the first year’s dues.

The auxiliary will be holding a bake sale fundraiser at the same time.
