The Cooleemee Historical Association barbecue fundraiser will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 on the Zachary House grounds.

The barbecue will be cooked by local pit masters Walter Ferrell and Clay West. Barbecue sandwiches and trays will be sold, eat in or take out. There will also be a bake sale.

Proceeds will go toward keeping the three museums open and continuing the Discovering Our Heritage kids programs.
