Mr. Terry Martin Summers, 65, of Oak Grove Church Road, Mocksville, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Summers was born Aug. 21, 1953, in Forsyth County to Mrs. Bonnie Sue McDaniel Summers and the late James Martin Summers. Mr. Summers graduated with a bachelor’s degree in textile technology from N.C. State University. Most of his career was spent in human resources. He was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church and enjoyed visiting other area churches. He enjoyed watching NFL football and NASCAR, riding his Harley Davidson, spoiling his Shelties and spending time with friends and family.

Survivors: his mother, Bonnie M. Summers of Mocksville; his son, Chad Summers (Carlette) of Raleigh; and his grandson, Staton.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 6,at Oak Grove United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
