Teddy Farrell Cohen

Mr. Teddy Farrell Cohen, 84, formerly of Fred Lanier Road, Mocksville, died Wednesday, May 16, 2018.

He was born Feb. 19, 1934, in Davie County to the late William Offord and Annie Mae Branson Cohen. Mr. Cohen was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church. Mr. Cohen was a member of the Farmington Masonic Lodge AF&AM #265 and a member of the Scottish Rite of Newport News, Va. He had played football but enjoyed all sports.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Cohen; and a brother, Larry Cohen.

Survivors: siblings, Nancy White (Leon) of Mocksville, Bill Cohen (Virginia) of Newport News, Va., Laverne Cohen (Sharon), Juan Cohen (Doris), all of Advance and Daphne Brown (Benny) of Mocksville; a sister-in-law, Kay Cohen of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews; and special neighbor, Tim Chaffin.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 19 at Eaton Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Sammy Kiser officiating.  Burial will follow in Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
