Ms. Carol Loretta Kimmer Stroud, 70, of Ridge Road, Mocksville, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 11, 2018 at her home.

She was born on Dec. 15, 1947 in Rowan County to Marie Honeycutt Kimmer and the late “T. T.” Kimmer.

Survivors: 2 sons, James Randall Stroud of Mocksville and Robert Edward Stroud (Dawn Foster) of Advance; her mother of Mocksville; 2 grandchildren, Callie Stroud and Kody Hernandez (Catie); a great-grandchild, Brylee Hernandez; 6 siblings; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 15 at Eaton Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Childress officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 14 at the funeral home.
