ADVANCE – Davie Construction is encouraging employees, suppliers, business associates, and friends to “Show the Love” and donate to The Dragonfly House Child Advocacy Center Electronic Sign Fund.

“As the builder of their new facility, we learned they did not have the resources to purchase a street sign.  We feel confident that we can raise enough money for a state-of-the-art electronic sign for the front of the building,” said Carl V. Carney, Davie Construction Co. president and CEO.

“We are so grateful for Davie Construction for sponsoring this effort,” said Brandi Reagan, executive director of The Dragonfly House. “They have been amazingly kind and patient with us throughout the planning and building process. By taking this initiative, they are adding to the generosity they have already shown us in every area of this project.” Reagan and her team had hoped for an electronic sign to draw attention to the new building,  help clients find it, and to communicate special events and community news.

According to Carney, donations will be accepted through Feb. 28, with the presentation of a check made at the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on March 2 at 11 a.m.  Donations may be made online at http://bit.ly/2DSgIOM or by mailing a check to The Dragonfly House Electronic Sign Fund, c/o Davie Construction Co., PO Box 1724, Clemmons, NC 27012.
