Mr. Bruce Lee Burton, 67, of Deer Run Drive, Mocksville died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

He was born June 17, 1950, in Davie County to the late Bobby Lucian and Sarah Rebecca Patterson Burton.  Mr. Burton was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church.  He enjoyed racing, sports, fishing and hunting.

He was also preceded in death by his fiancée, Crystal Annette Bumgarner Strunk.

Survivors: 4 children, Barry Lee Burton (Vanessa) of Greensboro, Bobby Ray Burton of Clemmons, Danny Eugene Burton of Advance and Crystal Gayle McCrary of Mocksville; 6 grandchildren, Austin Burton, Eric Sengvanhpheng, Wesley Burton, Hayley Burton, Gavin Burton, and Ally Davidson; and a brother, Walter Burton (Delilah) of Advance.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 29 at Eaton Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Fred Carlton officiating. Burial will follow in Legion Memorial Park in Cooleemee. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 28 at the funeral home.
