Mr. Rick Cornatzer, 59, of Springhill Drive, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2017 at his home.

He was born Aug. 16, 1958, in Rowan County to William Eugene and Norma Jean Jordan Cornatzer.  Mr. Cornatzer was a graduate of Davie County High School and Mars Hill College. He had been owner/operator of Flow Tek when he lived in Florida. Mr. Cornatzer was a member of First Baptist Church, Cooleemee.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Gary Cornatzer.

In addition to his parents of Mocksville, he is survived by: a son, Matthew Cornatzer; a daughter, Rachel Cornatzer, both of Florida; 2 brothers, Jeff Cornatzer and wife Carol Ann of Charlotte and Brian Cornatzer of South Carolina; and 6 nieces and nephews, Anna, Jacob, Jason, Amber, Sage and Cameron.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 22 at Victory Baptist Church, Cooleemee with the Rev. Sheby Harbour officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
