Anne-Marie Jones closes college volleyball career

Former Davie County War Eagle Anne-Marie Jones is in the fourth year of her collegiate volleyball career at Cabrini University (Radnor, Pa.).
She will graduate this spring with a degree in elementary education as a Dean’s list student. While she played for the Cavaliers, she accumulated numerous accolades. She was named 2014 CSAC Rookie of the Year and named to the 2014 All-CSAC second team. In 2015 she earned All-CSAC Honorable Mention. In 2016 she earned First Team All-CSAC and AVCA All-Mid-Atlantic Region Honorable Mention. In 2017 she again earned All-CSAC first Team and AVCA All-Mid-Atlantic-Regional Honorable Mention.
Jones also entered the Cabrini record book earlier this season, becoming the fifth player in program history to reach 1,000 career kills with the second-highest number of kills on record with 1,096. She helped lead her team to four straight CSAC conference championships as well as four straight bids to the NCAA tournament.
