Mrs. Marjorie “Margie” Phyllis Cornatzer Riddle, 71, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born July 25, 1946 in Davie County to the late Lonnie and Hattie Victoria Ransom Cornatzer. Mrs. Riddle retired from Miller’s Restaurant after more than 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and especially enjoyed her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lee Riddle Sr.; a sister, Betty Craddock; and a brother, Donald Lee Williams.

Survivors: 4 children, Kenny Riddle (Donnamarie) of Advance, Benny Riddle (Beth) of Winston-Salem, David Riddle (Allison) of South Carolina and Vicky Riddle (Todd Hutchens) of Advance; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ann Smith of Advance; and a brother, William Cornatzer of Raeford.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 22 at Eaton Funeral Chapel with Tim Dunn officiating. The family received friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Bixby Church of the Living God Cemetery.
