Cooleemee First Baptist, fun, food and fellowship beginning at 10 a.m. Barbecue meals, bake sale, silent auction, yard sale, music. Proceeds to make church more handicapped accessible.

Hotdog drive-thru, Chestnut Grove Methodist, US 601 N., Mocksville, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Homemade chili, slaw, desserts. Proceeds benefit church Girl Scout troop.

Soup Supper for Richard and Debbie Crotts, 5-7 p.m., Liberty Methodist, 141 Liberty Circle, Mocksville, off US 601 S.

Saturday, Nov. 11

Macedonia Moravian Bazaar, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., 700 NC 801 N., Advance. Breakfast and lunch. Baked goods, chicken pies, Moravian items, art, crafts.

Breakfast, Center Methodist, US 64 W., Mocksville, 7-10 a.m. Country ham, sausage, eggs, grits, gravy, biscuits, apples, beverages .Veterans, law enforcement and  EMTs eat for free.

Poor Man’s Supper, 4-6 p.m., Fulton Methodist, 3689 NC 801 S., Advance. Donations for missions. Last supper until spring.
