Sara Elizabeth Taylor Eure

Sara Elizabeth Taylor Eure, 85, of Mocksville, died at her residence Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017.

She was born in Twin City, Ga., July 1, 1932, the daughter of the late Floyd Luther Taylor and Mary Lou Wimberly Taylor.  Mrs. Eure graduated from Portal High School, Ga. in 1950 where she was Miss Portal High School. She attended Vo-Tech in Eustis, Fla. for cosmetology where she was named Miss Congeniality. She retired from Eure Brother’s Crop Dusting as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and was a life member of the Zellwood Garden Club.

Survivors: 2 sons, Claude Eure (Jennifer) of Georgia and Charlie Eure of Flordia; a daughter, Deborah Dull (Gary) of Mocksville; 6 grandchildren, Krista Bobb, Griffin Eure, Garrett Eure, Gillian Eure, Justin Eure and Lauren Eure; and 7 great-grandchildren, Logan Davis, Grayson Eure, Robert Ellison, Richard McCowan, Vincent Eure, Vance Eure and Bentley Willbank.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mack Guy Eure, and a brother, Donald Taylor.

A graveside celebration of life service was conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Arnold Gosnell officiating.
