Mrs. Vickie Cranfill Dwiggins, 52, of Baltimore Road, Advance, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2017 after a lengthy illness and was surrounded by her family at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

She was born Sept. 16, 1965, in Davie County. Mrs. Dwiggins had been employed by VF Jeanswear. She enjoyed fishing, crafts, reading and riding motorcycles.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Cranfill.

Survivors: her husband, David Dwiggins of the home; her mother, Maudie Melton Harris of Advance; 3 stepchildren, Mandy Correll (Chad), Megan Seaford (Dustin), all of Mocksville and Jonathan Dwiggins (Sara) of Westfield; 7 stepgrandchildren; and her mother-in-law, Peggy Dwiggins of Mocksville.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 20 at Eaton Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Peter Peterson officiating. Burial will follow in Eatons Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
