Vivian Morrison Bryant

Vivian Morrison Bryant, 79, died at her residence, Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017.

She was born July 23, 1938 in Iredell County to the late Foy Morrison and Edna Christina Alexander Morrison. Mrs. Bryant was a homemaker and was a member of Outreach Christian Ministries where she served as a nurse.

Survivors: 3 sons, Royal Morrison, Donnie Sellers and Anthony Sellers (Angie) all of Mocksville; 3 daughters, Judy Hargrave (Joe) of Lexington, Shirley Sellers and Christina Lewis, both of Mocksville; a brother, Odell Frost of Mocksville; sister, Nancy Peebles of Lexington; 2 sisters–in-law, Bessie Newsome and Mary Lee Sellers Adams; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was also  preceded in death by: her husband, John C. Bryant; 3 brothers, Louie Frost, Wiffield Frost and John A. Frost; brother-in-law, Frank Peebles; 2 sisters-in-law, Emma Lee Johnson Frost and Vergia (Maria) Mason Frost; and 3 grandchildren, James Michael “Mikey” Lewis, Ky’ Michael Sellers and Ceaunia Morrison.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11 at Davie Funeral Chapel. The celebration of life service will be conducted at 3 p.m. in the chapel with Pastors Bradley Taylor, Charlene Jones and Rodney Barker officiating. Burial will follow at Second Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
