Retired SFC Dennis Reynolds, 62, of Copperas Cove, Texas, died Sept. 24, 2017 in Temple, Texas.

A native of Davie County, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Sadie Revels Reynolds.  He attended Davie County Schools and entered the United States Army in 1974.  He retired after 20 years and had served in Vietnam and Desert Storm.

He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Donald, George, and Billy Ray Reynolds.

Survivors: his wife, M.Joann Reynolds; a son, Dennis T. Reynolds; a daughter, Tamika L. Reynolds; 2 brothers, Leroy Reynolds and Wayne (Pam) Reynolds; 5 sisters, Fern (Kevin) McCurdy, Gilda (Leon) Martin, Gaynell (William) Webb, Retha Reynolds, and Sandra (Chris) Parks; many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 3 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home in Mocksville with Brother Larry Glenn officiating. Burial will follow in Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service.
