Dorothea Ellen Hughes White, 91, of Mocksville, died  at Forsyth Medical Center Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017.

She was born April 9, 1926 to the late Arthur T. Hughes and Elizabeth Burke Hughes. She was retired from G.E. and attended St. Francis Catholic Church.

Survivors: 2 daughters, Cathy E. Adams (James) of Mocksville and Jean Marie Evans of Florida; 3 grandchildren, Michael L. Winsted, Ryan Winsted and Robert Plamondon; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Robert H. Evans; second husband, John H, White III; 2 sisters and 2 nieces.

A private family service will be held.
