Ricky Leonard Harrison was born on May 27, 1958, in Lexington, the son of Thomas L. Harrison and Annie Gabard Harrison.

He was of the Baptist faith, attending Yadkin College Baptist Church in Lexington. He worked as a finishing carpenter for all of his life, and worked for Ricky Owens the last 10 years of his life. He loved fishing, especially in Santee, S.C., traveling and woodworking. He was a NASCAR fan but above all else cherished and loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Leonard Harrison; brother, Terry Potts; and first wife, Deborah K. Harrison.

Survivors: his wife, Deborah A. Harrison; sons, Scott Harrison (Jennifer), and Chris Harrison (Cassidi); daughter, Misty Shaw (Tommy); stepchildren, Georgianna Romano and Alexandria Romano; grandchildren, Brookelynn Harrison, Ian Stamey, Austin Harrison, and Brandon Harrison; 2 great-grandsons; mother, Annie Gabard Harrison; brothers, Jeff Harrison (Deb); sisters, Lisa Sink and (Randy), and Cindy Lucas and (David) and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Psalm 91 Church 930 Michael Rd, Lexington, on Saturday, July 29 at 3 p.m.
