Nyala Shashu Jackson-Hall, 43, of Sunset Drive, Mocksville, died Saturday, May 6, 2017.

She was born April 25, 1974 the daughter of Deacon Alvin R. Jackson and Lois E. Bush Jackson. She was a graduate of Surry County Community College with a degree in early childhood education and was an associate at Wal-Mart.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by: 2 daughters, Nkenge and Nyasha of the home; and a brother, H. Phillip Jackson of New York.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ethel Boyd Bush and Herman Phillip Bush and her paternal grandparents Georgiana Singleton and David Jackson.

A celebration of life memorial service was conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, May 12 at Davie Funeral Service Chapel. The family received friends from 6 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral chapel.
