Mrs. Patty Lynn Parker Lookabill, 74, of S. Salisbury St., Mocksville, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at NH Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury.

She was born Oct. 17, 1942 in Rowan County to the late Grimes Parker Sr. and Hazel Victoria Spry Parker. Mrs. Lookabill was a member of First Baptist Church. She retired from BB&T after 33 years. Mrs. Lookabill enjoyed fishing, flower gardening and loved her nieces and nephews.

Survivors: her husband of 54 years, Ronnie Lookabill of the home; 2 brothers, Grimes Parker Jr. (Fran) and John Parker, all of Cooleemee; cousins Judy Long and Jane Thompson; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Cheri Cook and Patsy Smith.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 17 at Eaton Funeral Chapel with the Rev. A. Shane Nixon officiating. Burial will follow in Rowan Memorial Park, Salisbury. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
