Cindy Carol Edwards, 48, died at home on Feb. 21. 2017 after a battle with cancer.

Survivors: her children, Amber Story and Richard Lyons; her parents, Billy and Kathleen Edwards; and 3 siblings, Michael-Dean, Tammy and Todd Edwards.

She worked at Forsyth Technical Community College as dental assisting program coordinator. She was born and raised in Winston-Salem, and lived her life with top-notch leadership, commitment and morals.

There will be a tribute and memorial at Forsyth Tech.

Per her wishes, there will be no service.
