Betty Sue (Nickels) Frogge, 54, of Mocksville, died at her home Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017.

She was born June 15, 1962, to the late Dewey and Virginia Wright Nickels. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors: her husband of 39 years, Arthur Edward Frogge; 2 sons, Buddy Lee Frogge (Brittany Bridges) of Mocksville and Michael Edward Frogge (Jenna) of Richlands; 3 daughters, Amanda Virginia Marie Frogge of Davie County, Christy Ann Frogge of Advance and Jenny Lynn Frogge of Winston-Salem; 2 brothers, Steven Nickels of Kernersville and Marvin Nickels of Advance; a half-sister, Elizabeth Nickels of Tennessee; 12 grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; her best friend, Penny Wood; and longtime family friends, the Kings.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, John Paul Nickels.

The family received friends from 6-8: p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11 at Davie Funeral Chapel. The funeral service was conducted at the funeral chapel at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb.  12, with Pastor Darrell Cox officiating. Burial followed in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
