Mrs. Evelyn Grey Caudle Langford, 94, of Mocksville died on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center.

She was born May 23, 1922 in Davie County to Robert Lewis and Reba Allen Caudle. Mrs. Langford retired from Hanes Hosiery after 35 years and was a member of Petree Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Langford and a daughter, Beverly Jean Langford.

Surviving are 5 generations: her son, Rick Langford; a daughter, Carolyn Doss-Loflin; 6 grandchildren; 9 great -grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, John Henry Caudle; a sister, Lelia Mae Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday, Jan. 14 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Pastor Chris Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Mocksville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
