Mrs. Janet Erickson Hansen, 81, of Bermuda Run died Monday, Dec. 12, 2016 at Grayson Rehabilitation and Health Center in Independence, Va.

She was born Dec. 16, 1934 in Minnesota to Victor Emmanuel and Signe Lundeen Erickson. Mrs. Hansen was a member of Augsburg Lutheran Church and retired from US Airways after 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Ronald Gilbert Hansen.

Surviving: 2 sons, Michael James Hansen and Scott Ronald Hansen; a daughter, Deborah Anne Miller and husband Charles of Galax, Va.; and 2 grandchildren, Corey and Erik Miller.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19 at Augsburg Lutheran Church with the Rev. Daniel Pugh officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.
