Ms. Jane Russell Moore, 74, of US 601 N., Mocksville, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

She was born May 27, 1942, in Forsyth County. Ms. Moore was a member of Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church. She was an animal lover and loved traveling to the beach. Ms. Moore enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Woodrow Russell.

Survivors: 2 sons, Wesley Howard (Linda) and James Howard, all of Mocksville; 3 grandchildren, Chad Howard, Brittany Howard and Cheryl Landis (Mikkie); and 3 great-grandsons.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 17 at Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church with the Revs. Bob Briggs and Darren Crotts officiating. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16,at Eaton Funeral Home.
