A Mocksville teen died last week after wrecking the car he was driving on Milling Road.

Joseph Cuyler Sinclair Devine, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene, said N.C. Highway Patrol 1st Sgt. F.C. Ferguson.

Devine was driving a 2007 Hyundai at an estimated 100 mph on Milling Road at 1:52 a.m. Nov. 23, when the car went off the road to the right, crossed back across the road and hit a tree, careening into another tree, overturned and caught fire, Ferguson said.
