Mrs. Edith Katherine Vestal Myers, 84, died Nov, 30, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

She was born Dec. 18, 1931 in Forsyth County to the late Robeth Vestal and Ruby Miller Vestal. Mrs. Myers was a member of Elbaville United Methodist Church and retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. after 32 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Myers, and her brothers and sister, Howard, John, Rachel, and Richard.

Survivors: 2 sons, Jerry Myers and Garry Myers; a brother, Kenneth; and her 2 sisters, Shirley and Pat.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. Burial was private.
