Mrs. Beverly Kay Winecoff Allen, 71, of Sanford Avenue, Mocksville, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at her home.

She was born Oct. 9, 1945, in Rowan County to the late Roy William and Mabel Ruth Goodnight Winecoff. Mrs. Allen was a member of South River Church of Christ in Woodleaf and was a retired CNA. Mrs. Allen was fond of her furry friends, Toot-Toot and Abbie. She enjoyed family get togethers and spending time with her church family.

Survivors: her husband of 53 years, Jack Preston Allen Sr. of the home; children, Jack Allen, Jr. (Judy) of Stony Point, Vaden Allen (Tamyra) of Kernersville and Angela Bracken (Glenn) of Harmony; grandchildren, Preston, Richard, Sean, Leslie, Emerson, Gerald, Josh (Jodie) and Dustin; great-granddaughter, Savannah; siblings, Bill Winecoff (Debbie) of Salisbury, Brenda Windsor (Perry) of Mooresville, Terry Winecoff, Barbara Kirk (Pete), Peggy Rogers (Phil), all of Salisbury and Harvey Winecoff (Kris) of Oklahoma; and a multitude of friends who were family.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 3 at Eaton Funeral Chapel with Jimmy Stone and Tommy Graham officiating. Burial will follow in South River Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
