The Davie County Chamber of Commerce is conducting the 4th Annual Best of Davie Awards.

Voting runs through Dec. 15.

“The Best of Davie Awards provide the chamber with a unique way to recognize the hard work and contributions that make Davie County a truly special place to dine, bank, live, stay, shop and work,” said Carolyn McManamy, chamber president.

Best of Davie winners will be announced at the 47th Annual Davie Chamber Awards Gala on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017 at WinMock at Kinderton in Bermuda Run.

“The Best of Davie Awards are just another way for us to make a connection with iSHOPDavie and give the community an opportunity to share what they love most about Davie County,” McManamy said.

Besides showcasing everything from voters’ favorite restaurants to “The Kitchen Sink Award,” McManamy hopes the competition will be a fun way for residents and businesses to connect in a special way.

“We hope businesses will use the promotional materials we have designed on social media and at their businesses to invite their customers to nominate them,” she says. “And we want individuals to rally together and show support for others in the community who are deserving of a Best of Davie designation.  What better way to show appreciation for a business, organization or person in the community than to nominate them for a Best of Davie award?

“This is just another way for us to make a connection with the importance of supporting all our local businesses and giving the community an opportunity to share what they love most about Davie County. By working together and supporting each other, we add to the vibrancy of Davie County—again, exactly what iSHOPDavie is all about.” said Chamber President, Carolyn McManamy.  After the huge success of last year, the Chamber is looking forward to seeing how our businesses get involved and the results of residents & customers showing their support for their favorite businesses.”
