Linda Elizabeth Driver ‘Betsey’ Carter

Linda Elizabeth Driver “Betsey” Carter, 52, died at Forsyth Medical Center Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016.
She was a native of Norfolk, Va., born Aug. 19, 1964, and the daughter of the late Harry Kenneth Driver and Sylvia Joyce Ball Driver. She graduated from Davie County High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from High Point University. She was the office manager for Carolina Fire Systems and a member of Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church.
Survivors: 3 daughters, Anna Beth Carter, Olivia Grace Carter and Sarah McKenzie Carter, all of the home; a step-son, Rodney Carter of Florida; a sister, Joy Driver Harnett of Wilson; an uncle, Grady Trivette; plus several cousins, 3 nephews, a niece and 5 great-nephews.
A memorial service was to be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Chestnut Grove UMC with the Rev. David Gilbreath officiating. The family was to receive friends following the service in the church.
