Mrs. Dixie Mae Shemwell Faller, 86, of Dixie Way, Mocksville, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016, at her home.

She was born Dec. 25, 1929, in Palm Beach County County, Fla. to the late Alton Echolas and Mildred M. Gies Shemwell.

Survivors: her husband, James A. Faller of the home; a daughter, Nancy I. Faller of Mocksville; a son, James Faller of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and 2 grandchildren, James W. Faller and Nancy Elizabeth Faller.

A memorial service will be held later.
