The Mocksville-Davie Veterans Day Observance will be held on Friday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at the Veterans Monument in Downtown Mocksville.

There will be music from the Davie High School Band, Risen Son Quartet, other music, and presentations from young people.

All veterans of any branch of military service and active duty personnel will be recognized.

“All members of the Davie County community are invited, and to bring a visitor so we can all give our veterans a big Davie County thank you for their service for our country,” said Lynn Hicks, event organizer.

In the event of inclement weather, the observance will be held at First United Methodist Church on North Main Street, also downtown.
