Mrs. Mary Kathryn Ratledge Rogers, 95, of US 64 West, Mocksville, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2016,at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.

She was born July 22, 1921, in Davie County to the late Jay M. and Ila Rives Ratledge. Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker and a member of Society Baptist Church in Statesville.

She was also preceded in death by: her husband, Carl Marion Rogers; a grandson, Clark Rogers; and siblings, John Ratledge, Lorene Smoot, Claude Ratledge, Jay Ratledge, Dennis Ratledge, Kenneth Ratledge, Rebecca Belton, Jim Ratledge and Carolyn Bodenheimer.

Survivors: 2 sons, Robert Rogers (Creola) and Randy Rogers; 3 grandsons, Shane Rogers, Philip Rogers and Andrew Rogers; 5 great-grandchildren, Torri Ginther, Zach Rogers, Aidan Rogers, Alex Rogers and Brandon Rogers; and a great-great-grandson, Grayson Ginther.

A graveside service was conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 7 at Society Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Revs. Jeff Holder and David Childress officiating. The family received friends Sunday, Nov. 6 at Eaton Funeral Home.
