Mr. Dewey Carter “D.C.” Redmond, 86, of Ivy Lane, Mocksville, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, at Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 29 at First Baptist Church with the Rev. A. Shane Nixon officiating. Burial will follow in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery in Statesville. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 28, at Eaton Funeral Home.
