Mr. Bruce Mitchell Pratt, 73, of US 601 North, Mocksville, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016, at his home.

He was born Feb. 23, 1943 in Mocksville to the late Rufus and Lela Pratt. He was a graduate of Davie County High School, class of 1961, and Charlotte Business College. He retired from Davie County Water Department.

He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Fred and John Pratt.

Survivors: his wife of 46 years, Judy Foster Pratt, whom he married on Jan. 31, 1970; a son, Shannon Pratt; a daughter, Theresa Craver (Wayne); 3 sisters, Ritha Whittaker (Jimmy), Gaynell Hollar (Henry) and Charlotte Norris (Harry); a brother, Dorrell Pratt; 2 sisters-in-law, Eloise and Elaine Pratt; 5 grandchildren, Tristan and Brittany Pratt and Zack, Brandon and Tanner Craver.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 15 at Eaton Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Chad Shoaf and Dr. Richard Capps officiating. Burial will follow in Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
