Gilma Angell Goodman

Gilma Angell Goodman, 90, of Concord, died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016 at her home.
She was born Dec. 29, 1925 in Salisbury to the late Alvin Hiawatha Angell and the late Nanny Angell. She was a member of Branchview Church of God in Concord. She crocheted and enjoyed cooking for her family. Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great -great-grandchildren meant the world to her. One of the fondest memories of her family was how she lived and shared her faith in God.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Moore; as well as 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Survivors: her son, David Moore and wife Rosemary; daughter, Janice Guinn; granddaughter, Crystal Kaiserling and husband Juergen; granddaughter, Suzanne Hallman; granddaughter Hannah Rowland and husband Greg; grandson Alan Moore; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great- great-grandchildren; sister, Mabel Couch of Mocksville; and many nieces and nephews.
The family received friends Tuesday, Oct. 11 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service followed at 1 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by the Rev. James Sechrest. Burial was at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
