Janie Sue Green Livengood

Ms. Janie Sue Green Livengood, 75, of Greenhill Road, Mocksville, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, at Trinity Elms in Clemmons.

She was born April 4, 1941 in Davie County to the late John William Sanford and Thursa Luhalia Koontz Green. Ms. Livengood attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had been employed by Drexel Heritage. Ms. Livengood had also worked as a greeter at Wal-Mart, a waitress at Western Steer and a caregiver at Milling Manor.

She was also preceded in death by: a sister, Betty G. Smith; and 2 brothers, William A. Green and Floyd E. Greene.

Survivors: a daughter, Tammie Shore of Mocksville; 3 grandchildren, Brandon Shore (Candace), Patrick Shore (Madelyn) and Hannah Shore; a great-grandson, Banks Shore; and 2 sisters, Phyllis Williams of Advance, Ruth Foster of Mocksville.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 10 at Eaton Funeral Chapel with Bishop Todd Eldredge and Rick Green officiating.Burial will follow in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
