Niland re-elected Grand Knight

Jay T. Niland of Mocksville has been re-elected Grand Knight of St. Francis of Assisi Council 12610, Knights of Columbus.
He will be assisted by Deputy Grand Knight Ronald L. Kobash of Mocksville.
Other elected officers are: the Rev. John F. Starczewski of Mocksville, chaplain; Keiner M. Solis of Mocksville, financial secretary; Charles R. Murray of Salisbury, chancellor; Stephen A. Grimaldi of Mocksville, recorder; Anthony D. Palozzolo of Advance, treasurer; Richard J. Ferger of Mocksville, lecturer; Robert C. Ginther of Mocksville, warden; Richard A. Householder of Mocksville, inner guard; Ronald J. Semple of Advance, outer guard; Bernard A. Gerstemeier of Advance, two year trustee; and George D. Lemmon of Mocksville, three year trustee.
The officers, whose term begins on July 31, were installed on July 17 at a ceremony in St. Francis of Assisi Church in Mocksville.
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men’s order rooted in charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism founded in 1882.
